Gas prices on the Dutch and German trading hubs drifted lower Wednesday morning on the back of largely stable supply fundamentals and a lack of fresh market-related headlines from Ukraine.

At midday London time the day-ahead contract on the Dutch TTF was seen at Eur17.65/MWh, down by 30 euro cent from its Tuesday assessment, while September gas was also down by 30 euro cent at Eur17.65/MWh.

On the German NetConnect, the day-ahead contract fell by 15 euro cent to Eur17.80/MWh, while the GASPOOL spot contract edged 5 euro cent lower to Eur17.65/MWh.

Norwegian gas deliveries at Dornum and Emden on the Dutch-German border continued at a rate of around 90 million cubic meters/day Wednesday morning, Gassco data showed.

Russian gas volumes being exported to Germany were unchanged, with data by Platts unit Bentek Energy showing 89 million cu m/d due for delivery Wednesday at Greifswald via the Nord Stream link and 82 million cu m/d at Mallnow via the Yamal pipeline.

Curve prices on the TTF were also weaker, with both the Q4 14 and Winter 14 down by 30 euro cent from Tuesday to Eur23.70/MWh and Eur24.45/MWh respectively.
