Sinopec Qingdao refinery sold 7,200mt of LPG by barge in the week ended Jun 3, up 1,400mt or 24.1% from the previous week, C1's data showed.
The refinery reduced barge price to stimulate sales, with daily LPG commodity output stable at 1,200mt, according to a refinery source.
Qingdao refinery was scheduled to start overall turnaround on Jun 20, which would last 45 days, C1 reported earlier.
Qingdao Refining & Chemical, located in Qingdao City of Shandong Province, has an annual topping capacity of 10-mil mt. It normally produces 1,800mt of LPG commodity daily, about a half of which is shipped to South China and East China's Zhejiang Province.
