Sinopec Wuhan Petrochemical is slated to process 420,000mt of crude in April, with daily throughput sharply up 21% from the previous month, a refinery source told C1.
The refinery set crude throughput target for the second quarter at 1.3-mil mt, up 11% from the previous quarter, revealed the source.
Wuhan Petrochemical wrapped up 20-day maintenance of a 400,000-mt/yr hydrogen unit on Mar 15, C1 reported earlier.
Wuhan Petrochemical, located in Wuhan City of Central China's Hubei Province, is one of major Sinopec refineries alongside the Yangtze River. It is equipped with a 3.5-mil-mt/yr crude distillate unit and a 5-mil-mt/yr CDU, but the former was temporarily idled due to insufficient ethylene production capacity.
