Analysis review
This week, the start of ammonium chloride enterprises did not change much, and the supply of ammonium chloride was basically stable. According to SunSirs, the 350,000-ton/year soda unit in Longshan, Zhejiang, was operating normally, the 1.2-million-ton/year soda unit in Hubei Yihua Shuanghuan was operating normally, and the 600,000-ton/year unit in Kunshan of Zhongyan was operating normally. In terms of demand, the overall operating rate of downstream compound fertilizers was close to 50%, which had certain support for ammonium chloride.
The price of raw liquid ammonia fell this week, and the cost support was weak. According to the monitoring of SunSirs, as of April 16, the domestic liquid ammonia price was 3,836 RMB/ton, an overall decrease of 1.88% from the price of 3,910 RMB/ton at the beginning of the week.
Market outlook
SunSirs ammonium chloride analysts believe that the current cost of ammonium chloride has continued to fall, although the demand side has support for ammonium chloride, but the peak season of agricultural demand is gradually over, the late demand support is weakened, coupled with the start of the United alkali is not low, the late supply side will form a certain pressure, it is expected that ammonium chloride will fall slightly later.
