On March 9, Shandong Aldehyde Chemical Co., Ltd., with an annual output of 30,000 tons of paraformaldehyde, the ex-factory price of paraformaldehyde (96) including tax was 6,300 RMB/ton, which was the same as the previous quotation. Linyi Shengyang Chemical Co., Ltd., with an annual output of 9,000 tons of paraformaldehyde, the ex-factory price of paraformaldehyde (96) including tax was 6,300 RMB/ton, which was the same as the previous quotation. Zibo Qixing Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., with an annual output of 10,000 tons of paraformaldehyde, the ex-factory price of paraformaldehyde (96) was 6,800 RMB/ton including tax, which was 200 RMB/ton lower than the previous price. The market sales of paraformaldehyde were acceptable, and it is mainly used in pesticide resins.
The upstream raw material methanol, according to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the average price of producers in Shandong at the beginning of this week was 2,335 RMB/ton, and the average price on weekends was 2,462 RMB/ton, and the price increased by 5.46%.
