Siamgas Shantou likely to receive first LPG cargo in early Nov

Siamgas Shantou in east Guangdong is likely to receive its first refrigerated LPG cargo, mainly propane, in early November, said some local terminal sources.
This has not been confirmed by Siamgas Shantou.

The company previously planned to ship one cargo of refrigerated LPG to Shantou in late October, but it sold this cargo before arrival, said a terminal source in the Pearl River Delta. This has caused Simagas Shantou to start operation behind its previous schedule, the source explained.

Thailand's Siam Gas and Petrochemical Public Company acquired Shantou-based 200,000-cu-m underground LPG tank farm from Caltex in September 2009 and then established Siamgas Shantou. In addition, Siamgas took over BP Zhuhai's LPG terminal in Guangdong in late 2010 and launched LPG import and export in Zhuhai.
