PetroChina Huabei Petrochemical plans to refine 435,000mt of crude in October, up by 3.5% from September, a company source said.
It is scheduled to produce 309,000mt of oil products in the month, with gasoline production up by 6,000mt to 137,000mt and gasoil up by 4,300mt to 172,000mt, according to the source.
The company has been running its refining units at full blast to ensure oil product supply, the source added.
Located in Renqiu City of North China's Hebei Province, Huabei Petrochemical has a topping capacity of 5-mil-mt per year.
