Algerian gas exports to Italy were back to normal levels Friday after flows were reduced due to maintenance at Mazara del Vallo Thursday, data from Italy's gas grid operator Snam showed.

* Nominations for Algerian gas at 68 million cu m

* Flows via Tarvisio, Passo Gries set to decline

* PSV spot unchanged

Snam figures showed gas supply from Algeria via Mazara del Vallo was nominated at 68 million cu m, up 36 million cu m from Thursday's nominations.

Flows via Mazara del Vallo have averaged 65 million cu m/d so far in January, data from S&P Global Platts Analytics showed.

As Algerian gas flows were set to increase Friday, nominations for Russian and Northwest European exports to Italy declined. Supply from Russia via Tarvisio was nominated at 57 million cu m Friday, down from 89 million cu m Thursday, with supply from Northwest Europe via Passo Gries at 28 million cu m, down from 32 million cu m.

At 11:00 am London Time Friday, PSV spot prices were bid at Eur19/MWh against an offer of Eur19.6/MWh. S&P Global Platts last assessed the PSV day-ahead contract at Eur19.2/MWh, down 90 euro cent from Wednesday's assessment, as maintenance at Mazara del Vallo was expected to end Thursday, sources said.
