Prices for Seasonal NOx allowances slipped this week in the US Cross-State Air Pollution Rule market with a trade steadying values following a recent spike.

Sources reported Seasonal NOx allowances traded Tuesday at $700/st at a volume of 100 st. Brokers on Thursday heard bid-offer ranges of $665/st at $715/st and $675/st at $725/st.

S&P Global Platts on Thursday assessed Seasonal NOx allowances at $700/st, down $35 from last week, based on the week's trade and broker marks.

Seasonal NOx prices have declined as the market corrected from sudden strengthening in mid-May, when prices increased to a high of $750/st after new interest following a $700/st trade.

No other activity was heard this week for the other CSAPR allowances, keeping prices unchanged. Platts assessed Annual NOx allowances at $3.25/st, Group 1 SO2 allowances at $2.50/st and Group 2 SO2 allowances at $3.25/st, all unchanged, based on broker marks.
