Sinopec Jiujiang Petrochemical is expected to start month-long turnaround on Sep 20, nearly a month later than the schedule, according to a source with the refinery.
"The delay was mainly because of insufficient preparations,"said the source.
Earlier, Jiujiang Petrochemical put back the initial turnaround arrangement from early July to end August.
Located in Jiujiang City of Jiangxi Province, Jiujiang Petrochemical has 6.5-mil mt of topping capacity per annum. However, its accumulative crude throughput is less than 5-mil mt in 2010.
