Sinopec Qingdao Refining & Chemical is expected to resume LPG supply around Aug 10 after a start-up on Monday, a refinery source told C1.
Typhoon Muifa will not likely affect loading of LPG cargoes from the refinery, because Muifa is forecast to leave the Shandong peninsula and fade away by then, the source said.
Qingdao Refining & Chemical went into overall turnaround on Jun 20, C1 reported earlier.
Qingdao Refining & Chemical, located in Shandong Province, is equipped with 10-mil-mt/yr crude processing capacity. It usually produces 1,800mt per day of LPG, about half of which is for the supply in South China and East China's Zhejiang.
