The market is mainly focused on small and medium-sized downstream rigid demand procurement, with some discounts and shipments, resulting in faster transactions and weaker cost side. The mainstream price of GPPS (polyphenylene sulfide) in the East China market is between 8,800-9,850 RMB/ton, and the mainstream price of HIPS (polystyrene) is between 9,350-10,250 RMB/ton.
The cost support for PS is weak, and market transactions did not meet expectations. It is expected that the domestic PS (polystyrene) price will mainly fluctuate downward in the short term.
