FDA Expands Cystic Fibrosis Treatment Approval for Symdeko (Tezacaftor/ivacaftor) to Children Ages 6

The indication for a cystic fibrosis treatment, Symdeko (tezacaftor/ivacaftor) tablets, has been expanded to treat children ages 6 years and older with cystic fibrosis and certain genetic mutations, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced today.
