The water solution of Procaine HCl is more stable in pH3.0 ~ 5.0. Before Procaine HCl injection, generally some acid will be added to regulate the pH value to 3.3 ~ 5.5. Procaine HCl will be appropriate that strictly control the temperature and time of sterilization at 100 Deg C, circulation steam sterilization 30min, and pay attention to the shading, airtight preservation.

Ester bond of procaine hydrochloride can be hydrolyzed, producing amino benzoic acid and two diethylamino ethanol, under some certain conditions, p-aminobenzoic acid can be decarboxylated to toxic aniline.
